Dublin City University’s (DCU) Anti-Corruption Research Centre (ARC) has the mission to advance the understanding of the causes and consequences of corruption and support the development of new anti-corruption policies and initiatives, in Ireland and abroad. ARC’s mission contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goal 16, which is focused on delivering peace, justice, and strong institutions.
The ARC is directed by Dr. Michael Breen and Dr. Robert Gillanders, and its International Advisory Committee include Prof. Amy Alexander (University of Gothenburg), Prof. Elizabeth David-Barrett (University of Susex), Prof. Oguzhan Dincer (Illinois State University), and Dr. Amadou Boly (African Development Bank).
