NEW ARTICLE: ‘From Anti-corruption to Anti-anti-corruption: Why the Masses Turned against Nigeria’s Post-2015 War on Corruption’.
The article attempts an explanation for the counterintuitive ‘Bring Back Our Corruption (BBOC)’ popular resistance to Nigeria’s post-2015 anti-corruption campaign. The BBOC counter-reaction negates a common notion in anti-corruption theorisation that there is a huge appetite for anti-corruption measures among the masses of high-corruption countries.
